She Works Hard For the Honey!!!!

Honeybee hard at work.

Honeybees literally work themselves to death making honey.

In the spring, during the heavy nectar flows, honeybees live for about 6 weeks. Their first 3 to 4 weeks they work inside the hive and are called House Bees. After that they work outside the hive gathering pollen and nectar and are called Forager Bees. They forage for about 2 weeks during which time they put a lot of wear & tear on their wings. Their wings eventually fail and they unfortunately pass on to Honeybee Paradise.
